Maria Rito-Foukas is the Director of Legal Operations at Segal McCambridge, overseeing the firm’s general litigation paralegal department and managing critical aspects of legal operations, strategic litigation efficiencies and eDiscovery. With extensive hands-on trial experience and a proven track record of optimizing legal processes, she has supported over 15 trials nationwide, handling witness preparation, exhibit management, and trial technology.
Maria leads cross-functional collaboration by working closely with attorneys, staff, clients, and vendors while developing training programs to support ongoing education. She drives efficient litigation processes through technology and process improvements, vendor management, budget monitoring, and cost analysis. With extensive experience overseeing large-scale discovery projects for multimillion-dollar claims, Maria ensures seamless technology integration and aligns Segal McCambridge’s legal and business goals.
Maria holds a Certificate in Paralegal Studies and a B.A., cum laude, from Loyola University Chicago.
Outside of her role, Maria serves as an Adjunct Professor at Loyola University Chicago’s School of Continuing and Professional Studies, where she has taught a course in Law Office Computer Applications for eight years.
