Leah Yair focuses her practice on defending insurance carriers in Michigan No-Fault Insurance Act and auto negligence disputes. She serves as local Michigan counsel for insurance carriers for personal injury protection and third-party liability claims.
Her extensive understanding of the complexities surrounding insurance coverage and claims, along with her experience in navigating the intricacies of state laws and statutes, allows her to effectively protect her clients’ interests. Leah has a proven track record of defending her clients’ claims and skillfully managing litigation to secure favorable outcomes, all while prioritizing clear client communication and analytical reasoning.
After obtaining her J.D., magna cum laude, from Michigan State University College of Law in 2015, Leah clerked for the Honorable Archie L. Hayman for the 7th Circuit Court in Genesee County, Michigan, where she honed her litigation skills through reviewing motions and drafting memoranda and orders. She also assisted in jury trials.
Prior to joining Segal McCambridge, Leah worked as an associate attorney at a labor and employment firm and as an e-discovery review attorney. This experience has provide her with a well-rounded perspective, allowing her to approach legal challenges with insight from multiple angles.
