Leah Fitzgerald concentrates her practice in the area of first party insurance defense litigation. She uses her experience in case evaluation and issue analysis to help achieve the best outcome for her clients.

Prior to joining the firm, Leah gained valuable legal experience through various roles. As a Research Assistant at Penn State Law, she conducted in-depth legal research on criminal justice issues, focusing on federal sentencing practices. She explored trends in case law and drafted research memos to support legal scholarship. Leah also served as a legal Extern for the Travis County District Attorney’s Office, where she worked in multiple divisions including Child Abuse and Vehicular Crimes. In this role, she contributed to trial preparation by drafting motions, preparing evidence, and conducting research.

Leah earned her J.D., cum laude, from Penn State Law, where she was recognized with CALI awards in Torts and Energy Law and Policy. During law school, she served as a Comment Editor for the Penn State Law Review and completed a concentration in advocacy and litigation. She also gained practical experience as a Legal Intern with a litigation firm in Texas.

She holds a B.A., summa cum laude, in justice studies with a concentration in international justice from Montclair State University.

Leah spends her time enjoying Austin’s parks with family and practicing yoga.
