Lauren Gibbs focuses her practice on products liability, toxic tort, workers’ compensation and transportation litigation. She regularly appears in court and handles complex cases, including high-level depositions, detailed motion briefings and client relations.
A skilled negotiator, Lauren develops strategic solutions tailored to her clients’ specific needs. With a background in dispute resolution predating her legal career, she excels at finding practical solutions to complicated issues and negotiating favorable outcomes while maintaining a strong litigation approach when necessary.
Before joining the firm, Lauren was an associate at a boutique civil litigation and insurance defense firm, where she focused on workers’ compensation and civil insurance defense. During law school, she gained hands-on litigation experience as a law clerk for a Chicago criminal defense firm and as a 711 student attorney for her school’s Fair Housing Legal Clinic.
Lauren earned her J.D., cum laude, from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, with Dean’s List honors. She served as an Associate Justice on the Moot Court Honors Board, competed in multiple advocacy competitions, and was a teacher’s assistant for the lawyering skills, writing, and oral advocacy program.
She holds a B.A. in English Pre-Law and Philosophy from Ohio University, where she was also a dancer with the Ohio University Dance Team.
