Chaniece Hill concentrates her practice on defending complex litigation matters, including medical malpractice, wrongful death, product liability and business disputes. She brings strategic insight to every stage of litigation, from initial claim analysis to resolution. Chaniece is skilled in drafting appellate briefs and Illinois Supreme Court motions, preparing and presenting witnesses, and leading key depositions. She also excels at coordinating mediations and negotiating favorable settlements on behalf of her clients.

Prior to joining the firm, Chaniece served as an associate for a full-service litigation firm in Chicago, where she directed the Healthcare Group and oversaw all long-term care cases. In that role, she handled complex litigation, including medical malpractice and wrongful death cases, and regularly led depositions, prepared expert discovery, and drafted dispositive motions. Chaniece also served as an adjunct professor at the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law, teaching Legal Writing.

Earlier in her career, she worked at a tax appeal firm, gaining experience with Cook County administrative practices regarding property tax appeals. Her early externships with the Illinois Appellate Court and the Circuit Court of Cook County provided her with invaluable experience in litigation.

Chaniece earned her J.D. from the University of Illinois Chicago School of Law where she served as staff editor for The John Marshall Law Review, treasurer of the Latino Law Student Association and as a teaching assistant for Contracts and Legal Writing.

Chaniece holds a B.A. in international studies from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign with a minor in French.

Chaniece lives in Los Angeles and loves the outdoors. She is always looking for a pick-up volleyball game or a scenic hike.
